Account and Data Deletion
Published: September 30, 2026 | Google Play Policy and GDPR Article 17 Erasure Compliance
1. Commitment to Complete Data Erasure
Frogly respects your right to control your personal information. In accordance with Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v), Google Play Developer Data Safety regulations, and the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR Right to Erasure), you can request permanent deletion of your account and all associated records at any time.
Self-Service Deletion (Immediate)
If you have access to your account, you can initiate an immediate and automated purge of all your records directly from the application settings:
- Log in to your Frogly account.
- Navigate to Settings (gear icon in navigation).
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section at the bottom.
- Select Delete Account and type DELETE to confirm.
Web Request (No App Required)
If you have uninstalled the application, cannot access your credentials, or prefer a manual processing route, you can submit a deletion request by email:
Send an email from your registered account address to:
Subject line: Account Deletion Request
2. Data Elements Permanently Purged
When an account deletion is executed, the following records are permanently wiped from our active databases:
All daily frogs, ABCDE prioritized lists, weekly outcomes, quarterly objectives, and focus timer logs.
Name, email address, profile avatar, authentication identifiers, and password hashes stored with our auth provider.
OAuth access tokens and calendar synchronization webhooks for Google Calendar, Outlook, Slack, Linear, or Jira.
Consequence logs, economic ROI calculations, streak metrics, and personalized habit statistics.
3. Processing Timeline and Retention Exceptions
Immediate Execution: In-app deletion via settings executes immediately. Database records are purged in real time across primary database tables.
Manual Request Timeline: Requests submitted via email are verified and executed within 48 business hours.
Statutory Accounting Retention: Payment transaction metadata (invoice IDs, amounts, and billing country) processed through Stripe is retained for statutory accounting and tax compliance periods as required by applicable law (typically 7 years). We do not store raw credit card numbers.
Disaster Recovery Snapshots: Encrypted database backups rotate on a rolling 30-day schedule, after which data is completely overwritten.
